Mobile tyre fitting in Braintree
Braintree is seventeen miles east along the A120 and takes us forty minutes to an hour. It’s the far end of that road for us, and the A120 itself accounts for a good share of the Braintree calls we take.

This guy literally saved my life. My wheel went close to Duxford and they came within 30 minutes on a Sunday around 6pm and fixed it on the spot for a very good price. Like, who does that? Thanks to them I didn’t have to pay a fortune for a recovery.
What an amazing service — really fast, efficient and friendly. Puncture sorted in under an hour after my first message. Highly recommended local business.
Called up and he was here within the hour. Two tyres done on the drive. Top bloke and amazing service.
Great service — got a puncture and he was able to fit a premium tyre for my car the same day.
No trouble too small. Came out as soon as possible and fitted in the dark. Great service.
His prices were fair, and the quality of service was excellent.
Saved the day, in all honesty, and really good professional service.
He’s an absolute credit to himself and his family.
Where we get called out in Braintree
The A120 between Great Dunmow and Braintree is dual carriageway most of the way and moves quickly, which means debris damage tends to be severe rather than a slow puncture. We get called to that stretch and to the Marks Farm and Galleys Corner roundabouts fairly often, usually at speed-related severity, a shredded tyre rather than a screw in the tread. In the town it’s a different mix. Freeport Braintree and the retail parks generate weekend work: families out shopping who come back to a flat and a boot full of bags, with a long way to go home. Springwood industrial estate gives us commercial work, and Braintree station car park produces the same commuter pattern we see at Bishop’s Stortford and Royston. Bocking, Rayne and Great Notley are the residential end: driveway fitting, mostly booked rather than emergency.
Braintree is well served for daytime garages and much less so at two in the morning. That gap is where we come in.

What we can do at the kerbside in Braintree
Every one of these is a job we do in Braintree most weeks:
All of it happens where the car already is, anywhere in CM7. The van carries the machine, the balancer and the compressor, so a Braintree call-out normally finishes at the kerbside instead of ending in a recovery truck.
How much does it cost in Braintree?
The same as everywhere else inside our 50-mile area: a puncture repair from £35, a new tyre supplied and fitted from £75, and no call-out fee for coming to Braintree. Ring with your registration and the size off the sidewall, and you’ll have the figure for your Braintree job and an arrival time for CM7 before the van moves. The price guide lists the rest.

Mobile tyre fitting in Braintree: your questions
Do you cover Braintree at night?
Yes. Saffron Walden Tyres 24/7 covers Braintree CM7 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including bank holidays. Braintree is about 17 miles from our base along the A120, so a night call-out typically reaches you in 40 to 60 minutes. Night work is a normal part of the week for us rather than an emergency exception. Call 07944 703971 at any hour.
Can you fit tyres at Freeport Braintree or a retail park car park?
Yes, and weekend retail-park call-outs are common for us. As long as the bay gives access to all four sides of the vehicle and the ground is level, we can work there. Give us the car park and your registration when you call, and carry on shopping if you would rather. You pay by card at the vehicle or by a link once the job is done.
