This guy literally saved my life. My wheel went close to Duxford and they came within 30 minutes on a Sunday around 6pm and fixed it on the spot for a very good price. Like, who does that? Thanks to them I didn’t have to pay a fortune for a recovery.
What an amazing service — really fast, efficient and friendly. Puncture sorted in under an hour after my first message. Highly recommended local business.
Called up and he was here within the hour. Two tyres done on the drive. Top bloke and amazing service.
Great service — got a puncture and he was able to fit a premium tyre for my car the same day.
No trouble too small. Came out as soon as possible and fitted in the dark. Great service.
His prices were fair, and the quality of service was excellent.
Saved the day, in all honesty, and really good professional service.
He’s an absolute credit to himself and his family.
Where we get called out in Cambridge
Two things put Cambridge tyres on the phone. The first is the city itself: narrow terraced streets, granite kerbs and a lot of parallel parking, which quietly destroys sidewalls and kerbs alloys. The second is the commute. We get called to the Park & Ride sites at Trumpington, Babraham Road, Madingley Road, Newmarket Road and Milton constantly, because a car sits there all day and the driver only finds the flat at six in the evening in the dark. Addenbrooke’s and the Biomedical Campus are the same story on a bigger scale, and shift patterns there mean plenty of our Cambridge work happens between ten at night and six in the morning. Out on the edges it’s debris on the M11 between junctions 11 and 13 and potholes on the A1134 ring road that do the damage.
Fitting a tyre in a Cambridge multi-storey or a college car park means leaving the car exactly where it sits. That’s precisely what a mobile fitter is for. You carry on with your day and pick the car up sorted.

What we can do at the kerbside in Cambridge
Every one of these is a job we do in Cambridge most weeks:
All of it happens where the car already is, anywhere in CB1–CB5, CB21–CB25. The van carries the machine, the balancer and the compressor, so a Cambridge call-out normally finishes at the kerbside instead of ending in a recovery truck.
How much does it cost in Cambridge?
The same as everywhere else inside our 50-mile area: a puncture repair from £35, a new tyre supplied and fitted from £75, and no call-out fee for coming to Cambridge. Ring with your registration and the size off the sidewall, and you’ll have the figure for your Cambridge job and an arrival time for CB1–CB5, CB21–CB25 before the van moves. The price guide lists the rest.

Mobile tyre fitting in Cambridge: your questions
Do you cover the whole of Cambridge, including the city centre?
Yes. Saffron Walden Tyres 24/7 covers all Cambridge postcodes from CB1 to CB5 and the surrounding CB21 to CB25 villages, including the city centre, Cherry Hinton, Trumpington, Chesterton, Arbury and Newnham. The only requirement is somewhere safe and reasonably level to work, with access to all four sides of the vehicle. A residential street, a car park bay or a driveway is fine.
Can you fit tyres at a Cambridge Park & Ride while I am at work?
Yes, and it’s one of our most common Cambridge jobs. Leave the car at Trumpington, Babraham Road, Madingley Road, Newmarket Road or Milton Park & Ride, tell us the bay and the registration, and the tyre is changed while you’re in the office. You pay by card link afterwards and come back to a car that’s ready to drive.
